Orbs and Vessels

Born out of a mystifying combination of heartbreak and hope, these orbs are a meditation on loss and healing -- a painstaking process of taming grief, each stitch a remembrance, each orb composed of tiny decisions to keep moving forward. Cloth vessels and orbs made of old sewing patterns wrapped in cotton cloth are stitched from the shirts and pants left in my husband's closet after his passing.
